Assessment committee

We’re looking for local community members to join the SEC Delburn Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund assessment committee and help assess applications from across the region.

As a member of the assessment committee, your core role is to independently review and score grant applications against the established assessment criteria.

Applications will be reviewed over a three-week period, with committee members helping to ensure the process is fair and consistent.

Committee members are required to attend two meetings:

  1. Initial briefing on the grants program and assessment process
  2. Meeting to discuss recommendations and confirm successful grant recipients.

To support a fair and transparent process, all committee members must declare any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest and manage them in accordance with the committee’s conflict of interest requirements.

Community members must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Live, work, volunteer or have strong connections to Gippsland
  • Understand local community needs and opportunities
