SEC is a state-owned energy company, SEC Victoria Pty Ltd, led by an executive team with an independent board of directors to oversee ongoing business operations and delivery of our strategy.

The SEC is incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and is declared a state-owned company under the State Owned Enterprises Act 1992 (Vic).

The SEC Strategic Plan outlines the scope, functions and objectives of the organisation and was developed under the guidance of an Expert Advisory Panel, comprising some of Australia’s most credentialled energy experts.
